Captain George P. Taylor American flag
This accession consists of one American flag used to honor alumnus Captain George P. Taylor, who died in 1984. Captain Taylor USNR, is buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. The flag was presented in 1991 to the University's Alumni Relations Office by his widow, Professor Emerita and Distinguished Alumna Mary-Agnes Taylor.

Central Texas glass plate negative collection
A collection of 46 4x5 glass plate negatives showing scenes around Central Texas, including San Antonio and San Marcos, as well as one image of the Parke County Courthouse in Rockville, Indiana. Based on research into the scenes that could be identified, images were likely between 1882 and 1911.

Commencement records
This collection consists primarily of commencement programs. With a small amount of additional materials and recordings. Texas State University was established by the 26th Legislature in 1899 as the Southwest Texas State Normal School; 313 pupils were enrolled in 1903-04, the first year classes were held.
Common Experience collection
Each year since 2004, the Common Experience events bring students together to read and engage with a powerful text, and explore related themes in University Seminar classes. Collection consists of background and planning materials, press releases, posters, calendars of events, as well as each year's book.
