Budget and financial reports

 Collection
Identifier: 03.200-200-001

Scope and Contents

This collection ties together the many different types of budget and financial reports Texas State University produces. Most years are documented, covering 1929 through the present. Actual reporting styles vary over the years and the titles change. Materials include recommended budgets, operating budgets, salary reports, reports mandated by the State of Texas, as well as a small amount of budget requests, estimated incomes, summaries and analysis documents. They are divided into four series: I: Recommended budget, II: Operating budget, III: Annual financial reports, and IV: Higher education administrative accountability reports. Series represent the main groups of these records, based on the title and nature of the reports. Arranged chronologically.
