Materials date from the late 1930s-2021 and are comprised primarily of manuscript copies and research materials for a memoir of Benjamin Valdez, founding member of the seminal music group Los Conquistadores (active late 1930s-1970s) with Jose Morante and Enrique Rodriguez.

Captain George P. Taylor American Flag
This accession consists of one American flag used to honor alumnus Captain George P. Taylor, who died in 1984. Captain Taylor USNR, is buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. The flag was presented in 1991 to the University's Alumni Relations Office by his widow, Professor Emerita and Distinguished Alumna Mary-Agnes Taylor.

A collection of 46 4x5 glass plate negatives showing scenes around Central Texas, including San Antonio and San Marcos, as well as one image of the Parke County Courthouse in Rockville, Indiana. Based on research into the scenes that could be identified, images were likely between 1882 and 1911.
