Series Description From the Series:

This series is comprised of notes handwritten by Patoski on legal and spiral bound notebooks, as well as notes written and typed from Richard and Mary Zelade. The Zelades interviewed people who could offer insight into Selena and her family before she became famous.The researchers also investigated bank records and places of employment for the Quintanilla family before they moved to Corpus Christi, Texas.

Description

The bulk of the album consists of snapshots (60) documenting concerts, the Grand Canyon, parties, and a wedding (possibly sister Robyn Ludwick). Other subjects include the Continental Club, Bruce Robison, and Kelly Willis. Of note among the photos are four childhood ones of Charlie with his mother, alone, and with siblings. Also included are 2 clippings about the Millionaire Playboys, an early band Robison performed with.

Majority of the addition are photographs of Asleep at the Wheel and headshots of Benson; news clippings and magazine articles on Asleep at the Wheel; and concert promotional materials such as posters and flyers. Also, included in the collection is a screenplay for Shakespeare and the Indians.
