Scope and Contents
Archival material donated by Tamara Saviano related to Guy Clarke and Kris Kristofferson from 1971-2023. Material includes research for Saviano’s documentary on Guy Clark, Without Getting Killed or Caught as well as the accomplishments and careers of Guy Clark, Susanna Clark, Kris Kristofferson, and other various artists associated with them. Collection includes correspondence, photos, magazines, newspapers, posters, performance and award ceremony invitations, tickets, programs, and promotional material, transcribed interviews with Saviano, documentary proposal for Saviano’s film Without Getting Killed or Caught: The Life and Music of Guy Clark, screenplay drafts, as well as notes and research by Saviano. Audio within the collection consist of CDs, cassettes and VHS tapes. Some pertain to Kristofferson’s awards, tv appearances, and music. Also included is a test pressing of LP with music by Guy Clark.
