Materials date from 1964-2018 and consist of CDs, CD-Rs DVDs, 45 rpm records, 33 rpm LPs, 16 mm B/W film, video reel and a 30 ips tape master. All recordings are either written by or featuring Willie Nelson as guest artist or performer.

Archival materials relating to the career and personal life of musician/playwright/author, Bobby Bridger from 1944-2018. Included are photographs (including a photo of Bridger with Lady Bird Johnson); promotional material for A Ballad of the West; handwritten lyrics such as Heal in the Wisdom; and Bridger’s vinyl records of Merging of our Minds, And I Wanted to Sing for the People, and Heal in the Wisdom. Also, included in the collection is a screenplay for Shakespeare and the Indians.

The promotional material series is predominately made up of photographic and printed material sent to Patoski from music, television and film production companies, record companies, and talent agencies. Other promotional materials in this series include catalogs, newsletters, festival advertisements, press releases and ephemera all relating to the music industry.

Series II: Stevie Ray Vaughan, includes numerous slides by photographer Sky Kaly of Vaughans's second tour with Double Trouble, 1985-1986, as well as other images of the Blues performer. Posters, concert tickes, clippings, and other memorabilia round out the series. Of note are the reports relating to Vaughan's tragic death in a helicopter crash in Wisconsin in 1990

This series contains photocopies of reviews of Antone’s: Home of the Blues, press releases, biographies, a cast list, a Certificate of Registration, the film trailer, and a Fox 7 News clip about the film’s premiere at the 2004 SXSW film festival.

The Jerry Retzloff Collection spans 1973-2012 and documents Texas music, Lone Star Beer, and Willie Nelson. The collection is arranged in nine series: Personal Papers, Lone Star Beer, Photographs, Willie Nelson, Memorabilia, Oversized Materials, Newspapers and Magazines, Clothing, and Posters.

The bulk of Kindrick’s personal papers include clippings of his “Offbeat” column that appeared in the San Antonio Express News, 1968-1974. The column is a precursor to the workhe would later do at Action Magazine, and the subjects are similar: music, culture, off-beat stories of sports, politics, and society.

Series II, “Lyrics for Singles, Unrecorded Songs, and Unidentified Songs,” contains 94 folders of lyrics for released as singles or that have yet to be recorded or released. Songs are separated into their own folders, and labeled either by song title (if known) or by a key phrase or line that either “opens” the song or appear to be thematically significant.

This series contains photographs, schedules, publicity material, and clippings for events and conferences. The Tejano Conjunto Festival is particularly well-represented. It is arranged alphabetically, and then chronologically.

Variety of material including CDs, LPs, t-shirt and caps, posters, magazines, newspapers and newspaper clippings, drafts and manuscripts of work, photos, correspondence, music announcements and musician press kits, notes and notebooks, maps, brochures and other artifacts. Majority of material was not in files or labeled; file titles are in quotation marks when present.
