Scope and Contents From the Collection: Archival materials donated by Laurie E. Jasinski pertaining to Aaron Allan and the Red Nickel Record Collection dating 1947-2019. Aaron Allan (1929-2022) was a well-known disc jockey, prolific songwriter and performer from New Braunfels, Texas. In 1959, Allan did one of the earliest radio interviews with a young, up and coming Johnny Cash while working at WOAI-AM, San Antonio, Texas.
