Aaron Allan (1929-2022) was a well-known disc jockey, prolific songwriter and performer from New Braunfels, Texas. In 1959, Allan did one of the earliest radio interviews with a young, up and coming Johnny Cash while working at WOAI-AM, San Antonio, Texas. Posters are divided into Willie Nelson and non-Willie Nelson subseries. The Nelson posters include ones for the sixth annual Fourth of July picnic; Honeysuckle Rose, and two advertising concerts. The bulk of the non-Willie Nelson posters are for concerts at the Austin Opry House by performers such as The Charlie Daniels Band, Kinky Friedman, Dave Loggins, The Lost Gonzo Band, and Taj Mahal.
