The policies in the Regents' rules apply to each school in the system and apply to every primary aspect of the University community, including students, faculty, and staff. Rules are released when adopted, revised, or amended. Arranged chronologically.

Historical note
Board of Regents was established by the Texas Legislature in 1911 [H.B. no.17, chapter 5]. The Board is responsible for the general control and management of the universities in the system (amended by Acts 1975, 64th Leg., p. 1160, ch. 434, section 3, effective June 19, 1975).
