Discusses his family, early life, education, recollections of Kyle, TX, moving to Lime Kiln Road, San Marcos, student days at SWTSU, irrigation and farming in San Marcos area. He also discusses Will Green's irrigation project, 1925 drought, Ezell's cave, Ed J.L. Green, Hays City, county judges-Decker, Burnett, Smith, floods in San Marcos, changes in farming, labor force in Hays County, World War I and local Germans, the San Antonio Livestock Show, and Edwards Underground District.
