This collection consists of materials owned and collected by Helen Hornsby Crawford and her family. Items are arranged in general chronological order, beginning with Miss Hornsby's high school days. Materials dating after her death include topics related to the university, such as Lyndon Johnson, the inauguration of Robert Hardesty, homecoming, and the 50th reunion of the SWT class of 1949. The last two boxes contain the original audio interview recorded on cassette tape. Augustin, Byron, 1986 November 11

Along with discussing how he ended up in the field of geography and his early work, he speaks about what convinced him to come to Southwest Texas State University.
