This series contains materials concerning the researching, writing, and publishing of the 1979 book “Beacon on the Hill : Southwest Texas State University, 1903-1978.” It contains research materials and correspondence including documents and oral history transcripts on distinguished alumni. It also includes drafts of the manuscript and documents related to the production and printing of the book including copy photographs.
