Scope and Contents
Professor Fitzpatrick discussed her days as a student at Texas State University, curriculum changes, women in the history field, changing technology and the changing demographics of students. In her interview, she also addresses specific history faculty, such as Professor Green, Professor Retta Murphy, and Professor James Taylor. Her interview covers two different time periods. First, the interview covers her years as a student at Texas State University, 1939-1947. The interview then covers the years 1961-1988.

Biographical note
Professor Fitzpatrick became a part of the Department of History at Texas State University in 1961 as a assistant professor. Professor Fitzpatrick retired in 1988. She recieved her B.A and M.A from Texas State University. She was ABD (All But Dissertation) at the University of Texas.
