This seriesdocuments the two corporations that Shrake started and operated: Mad Dog, Inc. and East Pole Corporation. The Mad Dog, Inc. Corporate Structure and correspondence reflect the company’s satirical nature. The East Pole Corporation materials include receipts, reports, a budget, tax records, pension plan and an embosser.

This addition to the Benton archives includes drafts of several screenplays in partnership with David Newton (including Bad Company, Places In The Heart, Lovesick Blues, War in the Val D’orcia, Stolen, Places in Samarra) photographs of movie sets and actors, and original movie posters. Sub-Series Description

In 1998, Broyles was hired to rewrite the Y2K caper, Entrapment, starring Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta Jones. Broyles shares writing credits with Ron Bass and Don Macpherson, both of whom worked on earlier versions of the screenplay. Correspondence, research, scripts (including drafts by Bass and Macpherson), production materials, and videocassettes document Broyles’ contribution to the film.
