Three folders of notes and partial drafts, undated
This collection consists of material related to the personal life and writing career of Stephen Harrigan. Included in this collection is research and drafts for screenplays, articles, and novels including Remember Ben Clayton, A Place Called Home, Justice for None, Young Caesar, Gates of Rome, and Broadway Joe. This donation also includes handwritten notes, journals, correspondence, scrapbooks, photographs, books, magazines, newspapers, and posters.

Although Kirkland never officially published her poetry on its own, it appears in her novels and short stories. For many years, her Christmas cards featured her Christmas poems which are listed here in chronological order by year. Also of particular interest is a one-of-a- kind handmade booklet of Kirkland's war poems written for World War II soldiers. Poems listed with quotation marks represent the first line of untitled poems.
