In a few instances, original file folders were kept because of notes or other writings that appear on them. Folder 20 has been flagged for sensitive material.

This series has been arranged in alphabetical order by title, and includes mainly annotated typescripts and fragments of each short story, as well as one galley, and one carbon copy.

This donation consists of manuscript drafts and speeches written by author Judy Alter. Included in this collection are early drafts for Trouble in a Big Box, Danger Comes Home, No Neighborhood for Old Women, Cooking My Way Through Life with Kids & Books, and Texas is Chili Country. Also included is unpublished material related to “Gail Borden” and a Certificate of Copyright Registration for Great Texas Chefs.

Contains a letter to Richard Holland explaining the sequence of Sublett's works; a 2nd draft of Rock Critic Murders, a first draft of the book which ultimately became Tough Baby entitled Blunt Instrument, and a completely-rewritten second draft of Tough Baby entitled The Big Hurt.

Contains a short note to Richard Holland describing Hale Storm as a first draft, and versions of Hey Joe, Rock Critic Murders, Pay the Devil, Hale Storm, Shadows in the Sun, (with Stephen Purvis), and two versions of In the West (with Stephen Purvis and Tom Huckabee).
