Photos of Rich Minus and unknown people, undated
Archives material received from the surviving family of musician, Rich Minus. This collection are the remaining items of Rich Minus’s life possessions from childhood mementos, to posters, and handwritten song lyrics. Majority of the items in the collection were photocopied from the original documents due to issues of mold. Also, included in the collection are his well-known black cowboy hat, guitar and guitar strap are part of this collection, 1940-2018.

The material consists mainly of photographs of Texas musicians at various local venues including Gordos in San Marcos and Gruene Hall, taken by Applegate; some photos have subjects identified on the back but most do not. Material includes performance flyers, concert ticket subs, song lists, and five unprocessed rolls of film removed from a bag labeled “photos of Roger Creager”.

Arranged alphabetically by award ceremony name, and then chronologically. Publicity material for music award ceremonies, such as the Grammys, Latin Grammys, Tejano Music Awards, and Noche de Fiesta Tejana comprise the bulk of this series. Of note are the business records of the Texas Talent Musicians Association as they created the Tejano Music Awards. Boxes 189-192 contain awards, arranged chronologically.
