Series Description From the Series:

These documents pertain to Hudson’s personal life and include information about completing his dissertation including receipts for printing, verification of his veteran status including his marriage certificate, and awards received. The series also includes three photographs.

Series Description

The majority of the snapshot style color, and black and white photographs in this series are unidentified. One image of particular interest included in this series is a matted photograph of E.E. Mireles at age twenty-six which is inscribed to Jovita.

Included in the collection are articles, reviews, newspaper clippings, correspondence, reel-to-reel audio recordings, and numerous pieces of sheet music written by Roach. In addition to these materials, Roach also donated a large collection of books most of which focus on folklore and the American West and Southwest. Original folder titles are in quotation marks.
