Abstract

A collection of 46 4x5 glass plate negatives showing scenes around Central Texas, including San Antonio and San Marcos, as well as one image of the Parke County Courthouse in Rockville, Indiana. Based on research into the scenes that could be identified, images were likely between 1882 and 1911.

Abstract

Digital images of photographs picturing Dan Garcia and Lyndon B. Johnson. Garcia was a student of Lyndon Johnson's during the time that he taught school in Cotulla, Texas. Images consists of Dan meeting with Johnson as well as images of Johnson's visit to Cotulla in 1966. Also includes a group portrait from 1928 of LBJ with some of the students he taught.

Panther Hall was a concert hall located in Fort Worth, Texas and open from 1963-1978. The collection contains mostly photographs documenting the various artists that performed at the concert hall. Some of these musical artists include Waylon Jennings, Tanya Tucker, Tammy Wynette, Willie Nelson, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Tony Douglas, Loretta Lynn, and Conway Twitty. In addition to the photographs, the collection also contains promotional materials, papers, and published materials.
