The series for Plays is the largest of Shepard’s works and includes notes, annotated typescripts, playbills, programs, correspondence, sound recordings, rehearsal schedules, reviews, and publicity. This series is notable in that Shepard meticulously identified each annotated draft with the date and place (by city and state) of each revision, and there tend to be multiple drafts of each work represented.

Authors mailed the works to Shepard for his comments, and many items include typescripts annotated by Shepard and correspondence.

This series consists of VHS and audiocassette tapes. These tapes feature broadcasts about Ron Querry and other authors and readings by Ron Querry and other authors. Also included is music by Larry L. King.

Variety of material including CDs, LPs, t-shirt and caps, posters, magazines, newspapers and newspaper clippings, drafts and manuscripts of work, photos, correspondence, music announcements and musician press kits, notes and notebooks, maps, brochures and other artifacts. Majority of material was not in files or labeled; file titles are in quotation marks when present.

This donation includes page proofs for Leather Maiden, correspondence, story ideas, notes, articles about Lansdale, convention and conference material, and material from La Milanesiana 2009.
