Archival materials following the life and career of an American writer, author, martial arts expert, and martial arts instructor Joe R. Lansdale. Majority of the materials in this collection are movie scripts of Christmas with the Dead; Christmas of the Dead 2; and episode scripts of Hap and Leonard. Included are floppy disks; Convention brochures and schedules; printed emails and letters to Joe Lansdale; convention passes; newspaper clippings; and proclamations, 2003-2016.

Series Description From the Series: This series consists of correspondence, notes and research material, draft manuscripts, final copies, and publicity related to Querry’s five major books. Correspondence may include personal- and publisher-related letters, contracts, permissions, and/or financial documents related to his books and notes and research material may contain newspaper clippings, journal articles, books, VHS tapes, and/or government bulletins.
