This collection consists of archival materials relating to the personal life and career of author, James Crisp from 1967-2017. Majority of the collection consists of correspondence with peers and readers of his works; awards such as The CHASS Award; reviews of Crisp’s and other’s works; legal documents concerning Denise McVea suing Crisp over reviews of Making Myth of Emily: Emily West de Zavala and the Yellow Rose of Texas Legend.
