Archival materials received from journalist and former CNN senior vice president, Earl Casey. Casey, a longtime friend of Jerry Jeff and Susan Walker, served as the chief researcher and writer/consultant on Jerry Jeff Walker’s autobiograpy, Gypsy Songman, 1999. The bulk of the material in this collection dates 1964-1990 and consists of research documents and taped interviews with transcipts conducted with Jerry Jeff Walker, Walker’s family, friends and other musicians for the book Gypsy...
