Tom Curtis Accessions

 Collection
Identifier: UPWC-17058

Scope and Contents

Reporter/writer Tom Curtis’s personal research and writing materials, 1959-2013. The majority of the articles within the collection were used for research for Curtis’s 1992 Rolling Stone article “Origin of AIDS”. The collection also includes articles written by Curtis for Texas Monthly, Rolling Stone, Houston Post, and others. A few of the materials were photocopied because the originals contained mildew on them from a hurricane. The folder titles preceding a semicolon reflect Curtis’s original descriptions.
