Biographical Notes
Robert Samuel Gwynn was born May 13, 1948, in Leaksville, North Carolina, and earned his Masters’ in Fine Arts from the University of Arkansas in 1973. He taught English at Southwest Texas State University from 1973-1976, and since then has taught at Lamar University, in Beaumont, Texas. He has published several books of poetry and contributed to many poetry anthologies and dictionaries of literary biography.
