In this collection are many correspondence letters from Steve Harrigan’s family, including letters from Joe Berney to his family, Marjorie Berney, and Gladys Berney during WWII. Among the various letters are articles and publications by Steve Harrigan found in many popular magazines and newspaper clippings from his publication “Aransas” and “Jacob’s Well.” Numerous articles on Bishop John J. Sullivan and Catholicism are found throughout this collection. Several copies of Texas Monthly are also included. In addition, the collection houses several unknown partial manuscripts of Steve Harrigan’s work.
