Scope and Contents
Archival materials donated by author, professor and reviewer, Mark Busby dating from 1937-2018. Much of the collection consists of newspaper articles, journals, correspondence, and other research materials Busby utilized for either his own work, student course assignments, or for his own personal knowledge. The materials also include a Presidential Award for Excellence in Scholarly/Creative Activities from Texas State University in 2010, copies of his students’ essays, publishing contracts, articles written by Busby, and early drafts of Busby’s books such as Fort Benning Blues, Cedar Crossing, and John Graves, Writer.
