Scope and Contents
Archival materials received from Naomi Shihab Nye pertaining to her professional works dating between 1970-2023. This collection focuses on her novel Habibi but also includes other poetry drafts and uncorrected proofs of Fuel and Voices in the Air. A majority of the material consists of correspondence to and from Nye, poetry written by and given to Nye, promotional items, articles pertaining to Nye and her writings, articles written by Naomi, and reviews of Nye’s works.
