Series Description
The Clippings Series contains original newspapers and clippings about Country Western and Swing music and musicians such as Dolly Parton, Mel Tillis, Kenny Rogers, Floyd Tillman. Newspapers in this series are: Country All American, International Musician, Music City News, The Houston Post, American Country, Potpourri Newspaper (Magnolia, TX), and the San Antonio Light. Of interest is the Houston Post publication, Texas Note-ables, 1982 announcing Laura Lee Mc Bride’s album, and a review of the Original River Road Boys album, The Texas Touch.
