Civilian Capital Presents: The Future of Film Financing, 2001

 Item

Scope and Contents

In recent years, the standard practice of studios developing, producing, and distributing their films has shifted. Companies like Dreamworks, Revolution Studios and a handful of publicly traded companies in Germany have been making more and more films, while the studios have focused more and more on distribution and marketing. How will new financing models further evolve? How will it affect where filmmakers go for financing? Civilian Capital, an online brokerage firm/film financier, has assembled a panel of filmmakers and producers to discuss film funding in this new era. 1 audiocassette, sides A and B, about 57 minutes
