Scope and Contents
Folders are grouped by publication and arranged chronologically. Folders vary widely in content and extent. Some folders contain only the published article, while others include correspondence, notes, research, drafts, and proofs, to varying degrees. The bulk of materials can be found in the Arizona Highways (mainly published articles), City Magazine, Harper's, GQ, and Esquire. Also of note, Bowden co-founded City Magazine, and generally had a feature article in each issue.
