Scope and Contents
The Miriam Sagan collection consists of nine series: Personal Papers, Writings by Sagan, Drafts, Writings Affiliated with Sagan, Reviews of Sagan’s Works, Writings by Others, Audiovisuals, Visuals, and Restricted Materials. Miriam Sagan’s resume, letters of correspondence, notebooks, sketchbooks, publication information, awards and honors, books/juvenile books, zines, collections, journals, introductions, reviews, articles, and poem clippings, as well as photos and others’ reviews of the author’s works are included.
The collection is contained in thirty different boxes, and written pieces range from the year 1976 to 2010. Folders with Sagan’s notebooks, sketchbooks, and awards/honors are organized in chronological order. All books, short stories, articles, journals, and poems are arranged according to the first letter of the title.
