Archival materials donated by musician, Ray Benson, as additions to his collection following his music career from 1957-2015. Majority of the addition are photographs of Asleep at the Wheel and headshots of Benson; news clippings and magazine articles on Asleep at the Wheel; and concert promotional materials such as posters and flyers. Included in the collection are handwritten song lyrics; Benson’s guitar, cowboy hat, and concert shirt; and photographs of Benson with former U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama.
