Abstract

The Texas Educational Theatre Association (TETA) overall goals are to improve the status of educational theatre and establish recognition for these programs within the Texas educational system. This collection contains the administrative records of the TETA, encompassing the organization's history, annual conferences (Theatrefest), correspondence, committees, and newsletters.

Organized into five series: 1) Organizational History; 2) Theatrefest; 3) Correspondence; 4) Committees; 5) Newsletters

Physical Location

Materials may be stored off-site. Advance notice may be required for use.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Transferred to the library’s holdings by Texas State University Theatre professor James Barton prior to the formal creation of the University Archives in 2006. The materials were formally accessioned in 2019.
