Historical

Betsy Ross Builta was a prairie restoration expert and trailblazer in the field of agriculture. She started the first grass-fed beef producer in Texas called Betsy Ross Grass-Fed Beef, in turn helping form the Grass-Fed Beef Alliance. She used rotational grazing to feed her cattle which moved them into areas with different nutrient densities, so supplements were unnecessary. These grazing methods were unique to Texas with her cattle.

Extent

~10 items (CD/DVDs, four (4) microscopes, a mechanical balance scale, boxes of file folders (unprocessed), *more items and boxes) : Four (4) of the boxes did not need to be put in the freezer in the quarantine room. There is a two-drawer library card file for CDs and DVDs filled with CDs. The items in the freezer have evidence of pests and mold; currently waiting for the freezer to be fixed to go through a cycle. Required boxes have gone through a full freezer cycle.
