Textual materials related to the journalism program from the 1960s, including a typescript of The Drama of the Alamo by Ramsey Yelvington, a journalism bibliography complied by Jeff H. Daley 1961, six published booklets/pamplets related to press and journalism, and 2.5" of coursework, notes, and assignments by Donald K. Minear (Class of 1968).

A noteable item is a small SWTTC High School pin, owned by the donor's mother Naomi Crunk Minear, dated 1927.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Donated to the University Archvies by Pat Murdock 2010-05-17. The material was given to Pat for the LBJ Museum in San Marcos; they retained two copies of the Star from October 1960 and forwarded the rest to the Archives.
