Scope and Contents
Records of the Work Projects Administration (WPA, 1922-1944, buik 1930-1944), microfilmed by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). These records include WPA predecessor agencies: Civil Works Administration (CWA, 1933-34), Federal Emergency Releif Administration (FERA, 1933-1938), and Works Progress Administration (1935-1939).
The 158 microfilm reels in this collection are textual records from field offices, primarily in Texas, consisting of administrative and project files as well as accomplishment and other reports.
