Biographical note
Donald Hazelwood was a professor in the mathematics department at Texas State University from 1971 to 2011. He received his BA in mathematics from the University of Texas and went on to complete his graduate work at Syracuse University. He was active in the Faculty Senate and helped create the Faulty Senate Newsletter in the 1970s. Dr. Hazelwood was one of the founders of the Texas State Honors Summer Math Camp (HSMC) in 1990.
