Scope and Contents
This series consists primarily of newspaper articles about Johnson’s political activities and campus visits during his presidency and vice-presidency. Johnson’s visits to campus are documented with articles, press releases, photographs, and occasional audio recordings (which are in a separate series). There are many materials related to his visit to sign the Higher Education Act of 1965.
