Historical Note
Recording of the Spring 1963 commencement ceremony at Southwest Texas State College, as broadcast on radio station KCNY San Marcos, Texas. College president, John G. Flowers, introduced Dr. Harry Ransom who gave the commencement address. Then Dr. Flowers conferred upon Vice President Lyndon Johnson the honorary Doctor of Laws degree.
