Biography
Dr. David George Fleming was born February 3, 1928 in Orange, New Jersey. He joined the faculty of Southwest Texas State University in 1970 as a theater arts instructor. Outside of teaching several theater arts courses, Flemming designed sets and props for dozens of SWT productions and was heavily involved in the United States Institute for Theatre Technology, Inc. (USITT). He was honored as a Professor Emeritus by SWT in 1996. Dr. Flemming died on February 11, 2003.
