The Wilson Hudson Collection consists of his papers and includes off-prints, manuscripts and drafts, correspondence, photographs, newspapers, obituaries, and personal papers. There is also a substantial amount of material relating to the Texas Folklore Society.
The Wilson M. Hudson Papers date from 1913 to 1991 and comprise research material collected for (1) the biography of cowboy writer Andy Adams and (2) a study of J. Frank Dobie. The material consists of note cards, clippings, articles, photographs, correspondence, maps, manuscript drafts, and genealogical notes. There are also pamphlets and brochures from the Texas Folklore Society.
Correspondence, drafts, typescripts, photographs, scrapbooks, artifacts, ephemera and clippings document the writing career of Texas Women’s Hall of Fame writer, Elithe Hamilton Kirkland.
Documents from the Decherd Turner estate including letters from William E. Barrett, Roy Bedichek, Lewis Nordyke, Loula Grace Erdman, Elithe Hamilton (later Kirkland), A.C. Greene, and J. Frank Dobie that includes a 5-page typed manuscript of Dobie's Dallas Times Herald article, "What and How Tom Gooch Wrote."
