Biography
During the first called session of the 32nd Legislature, House Bill No. 17 was approved, which reads "... ."In 1923 the State Normal School Board of Regents became the Board of Regents of the Texas State Teachers Colleges. The name was changed in 1965 to Board of Regents, State Senior Colleges and in 1975 to Board of Regents, Texas State University System.
