Biography

College of Business Administration changed its name to the Emmett and Miriam McCoy College of Business Administration in 2004 after a $20 million donation from the McCoy family to the University. McCoy Hall, built in 2006, was also named for their honor.

The college provides a broad-based, student-centered business education at the undergraduate and master's level. With six academic majors to choose from – accounting, computer information systems and quantitative methods, management, marketing, and finance and economics – and numerous specializations, students at the McCoy College can develop the skill sets they need to compete responsibly, professionally, and successfully in our dynamic economy. Our accomplished faculty, award-winning academic advising center, engaged community partners, and hard-working students collaborate to make the McCoy College an AACSB-accredited college. The McCoy College emphasizes innovation, experiential learning, research, and service as we educate the next generation of global business leaders.
